The type of funeral service and music you may feel is appropriate, whether religious or non religious, is entirely your decision. Many people feel it is important to have a meaningful thanksgiving service, one that reflects the person’s life. Perhaps a service in a local church is your wish or alternatively it can be held in the Funeral Church, crematorium or cemetery. Whether you attend church or not most parish clergy will be pleased to conduct a service in the local church or elsewhere. The choice of the person taking the service, whether religious or non religious, is again your decision. These include floral tributes for any occasion, coffin sprays and wreaths. To-day more than ever the floral tribute is seen as an integral part of the funeral service an “expression” of the love and human bond with the deceased; we will assist in choosing the colours, flower type and style to convey the appropriate message of the relationship – examples are for illustration only and may vary.

If you have no particular preference we would normally engage a local Christian minister who would then make contact with you to obtain personal details to be included in the service. We can also arrange personalised Orders of Service sheets to be printed, and will gladly give you a quotation for the various types available. The contents of these would be put together by ourselves in conjunction with the person taking the service and of course, the family.

Professional Charges

Under our terms of membership of trade organisations we display in our office the price of a simple basic funeral. We understand that funeral arrangements are a very personal issue and to this end we individually price each funeral.

Pre-paying estimates are also available. Pre-paid funeral arrangements are an increasingly popular, caring and sensible way to plan ahead. We also have the ability to review any arrangements you currently have in place and give our professional opinion on these as circumstances and wishes may have changed.
